PICK-UP Hours: Renaissance by Design/MLS Estate Sales - 1000 HamiltonAvenue - Louisville, KY 40204 - Our new location is basically just around the corner and down the block from our old location.Pick-up Hours: July 19th, Friday, from 11am - 4pm and July 20th, Saturday from 1pm - 4 pm. However, It is always best to call before coming due to our independent nature.

REGISTRATION TO BID: Registration for our on-line auction is through the estatesale.org site. It is free but does require several important pieces of information. Bidders must be registered with a full name, address, and telephone number and a valid credit card. An email address is also required so that bidders may be sent winning bid notifications and auction invoices. Registration may only be completed with an acknowledgment that the bidder has read and understood all terms and conditions for the sale and online bidding. You are responsible to read the PAYMENT information in this section BEFORE YOU BID.

Bidding in this on-line auction is offered as a courtesy. Renaissance by Design/MLS Estate SalesLLC, its Auctioneer, Sellers, and the Internet and Software Providers do not guarantee or warrant the online bidding procedure and/or system to operate without interruption or malfunction, and shall not be held responsible in the event of such.

DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS: All descriptions and information are believed correct, but are not guaranteed as such by Renaissance by Design, LLC, its auctioneer and/or the Seller and they shall not be held liable for inaccuracies in the information. It is always the Bidders responsibility to verify - prior to bidding, any information deemed critical to their decision to purchase. Preview opportunities are announced and/or available for potential bidders to physically inspect the items. Bidders are encouraged to inspect and research items in which they have interest to their full satisfaction prior to bidding. All items in this auction are being sold as isand where-is with no guarantees or warranties of any kind including merchantability and/or fitness for any particular or special purpose. All sales are final.

BIDDING: Online bidding is to be considered a binding contract. Bids are taken with the general understanding that the bidder will honor their winning bid along with all applicable taxes and fees. Do not bid if you do not intend to pay. You will be automatically emailed if you are outbid and are welcome to enter a max bid (site will bid automatically for you only when another bid surpasses yours until your max bid is reached). Check back often and check your email for outbid notices. Notification of winning bids will be sent via email along with an auction invoice within 24 hours of the auction closing. Check your "spam" email folder if you do not receive your invoice within that time frame.

CLOSE OF BIDDING: The bidding will begin to close at 6PM (Eastern Time Zone), WEDNESDAY - July 17, 2024. The closing of some items may be extended in the event of last minute bidding.

EXTENDED BIDDING: All items in the auction will be subject to an extended ending, where at the close of the auction, any bidding activity on an item within 1 minute of the closing time will automatically extend the bidding for 5 more minutes past the time of the last bid. The bidding on that lot will continue to remain open in 5 minute intervals as long as there is bidding activity within 5 minutes of the previous bid. Once there is no bidding activity within the 5 minute period, the bidding on that item will close. For example, if a lot is supposed to close at 7:00 PM but a last minute bid is placed at 6:59PM, bidding will be extended until 7:05 PM. If another bid is placed on an item at 7:01 PM, bidding will then close at 7:06 PM, unless subsequent bids are placed.

AUCTIONEER'S RIGHT TO BID: In accordance with KRS330.220(6)(a), it is hereby disclosed that, with permission from the sellers, the auctioneer and auction staff members reserve the right to bid.

BUYER'S PREMIUM: A customary 10% buyer's premium will be added to the winning bid of each item to determine the final selling price.

ITEMS NEEDING TO BE SHIPPED WILL RECEIVE A SECOND INVOICE FOR SHIPPING ONLY IF YOU HAVE PAID BEFORE SHIPPING CHARGES COULD BE ADDED. Shipping charges must be paid prior to shipping. If for some reason your card on Stripe has been declined on the Estatesales.org site you must pay by using a credit card or debit card that is called in to us. We have been in business over 30 years and have never had any issue doing business this way. If you have any concerns or questions please call Kelli at 502-500-7760.

When shipping is required, we will e-mail you a corrected invoice with shipping charges as soon as your items can be boxed and weighed. We generally ship USPS Priority Mail and add additional insurance if your shipment contents are valued over $50.00. Please give us adequate time to get this accomplished.

If you choose to refuse to pay shipping, it is understood you are still required to pay for the item(s) you won. If you make no other arrangements for shipping or pick up within one week of close of auction, items will be considered abandoned and become property of MLS Estate Sales. We work very hard to keep shipping costs as low and safe as possible. If shipping is not paid for within 7 days of shipping invoice, the paid for won items will be considered abandoned - no refunds will be given. We will also put in effect any and all penalties as stated in our terms and conditions.

PENALTIES: Any fraudulent bidding, illegal activity and/or negligence to provide proper payment in the allotted time will result in recourse to appropriate legal action and forfeiture of the rights to any of the auction items. Winning bidders who do not successfully complete the sale with timely pickup and full payment will be barred from all future sales conducted by our company and will be given an unsatisfactory review with AuctionZip.Com/Invaluable and estatesales.org. This is meant to warn other auction houses you do not fulfill your contractual obligations.

PICKUP INFORMATION AND SCHEDULE: Local purchases MUST be picked up at 1000 Hamilton Avenue - Louisville, KY 40204 - FRIDAY OR SATURDAY, July 19th Friday from 11am - 4pm and Saturday, July 20thfrom 1pm- 4pmor BY SPECIAL APPOINTMENT. All items must be removed or be able to be shipped within one week of the closing of the sale, or items will be considered abandoned unless other arrangements have been made. We will work with you as long as you communicate with us in a timely fashion. PLEASE bring necessary boxes and protective wrap in which to transport your purchases safely to your destination.

MAILING LIST: By bidding on any item in our sale, the bidder permits us to add them to our email mailing list. Bidders may opt out of any future emails by following the instructions in any mailing.
